As a Registered Nurse - Substance Use Disorders, you will support our Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) program, working directly with patients, providers, therapists, and case managers to support each stage of the recovery journey.
What You’ll Do
Provide care coordination of our patients receiving MAT therapy, including scheduling, assessments, and medication management
Educate patients on treatment options like Suboxone or Vivitrol, including benefits, risks, and withdrawal management
Conduct clinical assessments to determine MAT eligibility
Collaborate with behavioral health and medical teams to develop individualized treatment plans
Monitor patient adherence, enhance follow-up care, and participate in daily huddles and care coordination
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local MAT regulations
Provide nursing care across clinic functions, as needed within scope of practice
What You’ll Bring
Required:
RN license in California (unrestricted)
3+ years of nursing experience, including 1+ year in SUD treatment or MAT
Proficiency in patient education, assessment, and medication monitoring
Graduation from an accredited CA nursing school
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Knowledge of buprenorphine, methadone, and MAT protocols
Commitment to trauma-informed, compassionate care
Preferred:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Certification in Addiction Nursing (CARN) or willingness to obtain

If you are hired at TrueCare, your final base salary (within the pay range), will be determined based on factors such as education, knowledge, skills, and experience. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
