The Mobile Supervisor assists the Mobile Manager with the daily operations of the Mobile Health Department, supporting both medical and dental mobile services. This role helps coordinate staff, patient care activities, mobile scheduling, community outreach, grant activities, and mobile vehicle operations.

Working under the direction of the Mobile Manager, the Mobile Supervisor ensures clinical, operational, and administrative activities are carried out efficiently, in compliance with regulatory requirements, and with a strong focus on high-quality, patient-centered care. The Mobile Supervisor collaborates with staff, community partners, and leadership to support accurate patient registration and billing, maintain safe and compliant mobile unit operations, and consistently monitors and delivers excellent service to patients and partners.
 
Responsibilities: 

Support for Clinical Operations
  • Assist the Mobile Manager in supervising mobile medical and dental staff.
  • Support patient care activities.
  • Help facilitate referrals between medical and dental services.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in Electronic Medical and Dental Records as per protocol.  
  • Promote confidentiality, internal and external customer service, teamwork and collaboration among mobile staff.
  • Monitor patient and partner feedback, resolve grievances/complaints.
Administrative & Operational Support
  • Assist with coordinating and distributing mobile clinic schedules; communicate updates to stakeholders.
  • Serve as a support point of contact for community outreach partners and site supervisors.
  • Support grant-related activities during funded events, ensuring compliance and reporting.
  • Assist with patient registration, billing, and sliding fee scale eligibility verification.
  • Support closure of patient encounters and adherence to documentation timelines.
  • Maintain inventory and assist with supply ordering for clinical and operational needs.
  • Conduct regularly scheduled one on ones with your direct reports and report out to the mobile manager.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to staff and new hires.
  • Evaluate staff performance, address staff issues promptly and report to Mobile Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with Title XXII, licensing, infection control, sterilization and HIPAA compliance.
  • Work with Mobile Manager on schedules, time-off requests, and plans for coverage gaps.
Mobile Vehicle Operations & Maintenance
  • Ensure mobile units are properly maintained and compliant with Title XXII, infection control, and safety regulations.
  • Perform and coordinate routine maintenance, repairs, and daily pre-trip inspections.
  • Ensure the safe transport of staff, equipment, and patients.
  • Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the mobile clinic and its equipment.
  • Promptly report any vehicle damage to the Senior Director of Operations.
  • Coordinate repairs as needed to keep the mobile units operational.
  • Work with Purchasing to maintain an adequate inventory of clinical and operational supplies
Qualifications Required: 
  • Associates degree in healthcare administration or related field from an accredited institution, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience relevant to the position.
  • A minimum of two years of work experience in a dental, medical, healthcare or social service setting.
  • A minimum of two years of supervisory or lead experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of medical/ dental terminology
  • Availability to work outside of normal shifts (e.g., 8am to 5pm) and weekends
  • A current Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers through American Heart Association.
  • Will be required to travel between TrueCare’s sites and county field locations therefore a valid CA Driver’s License, proof of auto liability insurance, and clean driving record are required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BA in Healthcare Administration or related field.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Experience in an outpatient setting or Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).

 The pay range for this role is $33.13 - $48.04 on an hourly basis.
