Registered Dietician I

We’re seeking a Registered Dietitian I who is passionate about health equity and wants to make a meaningful difference in the community. In this role, you’ll partner with patients of all ages and backgrounds to deliver culturally responsive nutrition education, Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT), and support chronic disease management and wellness goals.
What You’ll Do
- Assess patients for nutritional risks and develop individualized care plans
- Provide nutrition counseling and MNT for conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, weight management, and more
- Collaborate closely with medical providers, behavioral health staff, and lactation consultants to ensure integrated care
- Help patients set S.M.A.R.T. health goals using motivational interviewing techniques
- Deliver care that respects and supports the cultural, linguistic, and socioeconomic diversity of our patients
- Document care in the Electronic Health Record in accordance with HIPAA and clinic standards
- Act as a key resource on nutrition across service lines including Pediatrics, Women’s Health, and Adult Medicine
What You’ll Bring
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field
- Registered Dietitian credential (CDR-accredited)
- Strong interpersonal, teaching, and counseling skills
- Experience with Electronic Health Records and basic computer tools (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- CA Driver's License and a clean driving record
Certifications Required
- Registered Dietitian (CDR)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in Nutrition or a related field
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience with CPSP, maternal-child health, or gestational diabetes education

This position pays $27.38 - $39.70 on an hourly basis.

If you are hired at TrueCare, your final base salary (within the pay range), will be determined based on factors such as education, knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members when determining any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer generous benefits and retirement plans.
