What You’ll Do:
- Conduct nutritional screenings and assessments to craft tailored intervention plans for patients and participants.
- Offer expert counseling on nutrition, breastfeeding, and wellness to diverse groups, from one-on-one sessions to community classes.
- Seamlessly document care plans and education contacts in our WIC MIS system with precision and care.
- Determine eligibility for WIC, prescribe food packages, and guide families on navigating WIC-approved shopping like pros.
- Lead engaging nutrition, health, and breastfeeding classes that leave a lasting impact.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to design nutrition care plans, monitoring progress and adapting as needed.
- Empower patients and families with practical advice on dietary choices, meal prep, and lifestyle changes.
- Play a key role in developing and teaching nutrition and breastfeeding programs that resonate with our community.
- Mentor nutrition assistants, new hires, and interns, sharing your expertise to build a stronger team.
- Connect patients to valuable community resources and champion nutrition and breastfeeding promotion initiatives.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in food and nutrition services, nutrition sciences, dietetics or related field.
- Completion of a Dietetic Internship or other training program that is accredited by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Knowledge of normal, therapeutic and community nutrition.
- Knowledge and experience in nutrition education and interventions.
- Computer proficiency, particularly with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is Required
- Certified in Lactation (IBCLC OR CLC) preferred. (Open to obtaining certification)

If you are hired at TrueCare, your final base salary (within the pay range), will be determined based on factors such as education, knowledge, skills, and experience. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
