TrueCare is seeking a dynamic Donor Relations Manager (DRM) to work alongside our Public Information and Philanthropy Officer. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of connecting with our donor community, growing our support base, and bringing our mission to life through creative campaigns and heartfelt engagement.

As the DRM, you’ll lead the charge in strengthening ties with our donors and expanding our reach through innovative internal and external campaigns. Collaborating with various departments and external partners, you’ll harness marketing strategies and donor database systems to make a lasting impact.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build and nurture strong, ongoing relationships with our donors to keep them inspired and engaged.
  • Dig into research to uncover new donor prospects, foundations, and growth opportunities.
  • Craft captivating content—think newsletters, videos, social media, website copy, and more—to connect with current and potential donors, working with the PIPO to fine-tune strategies based on insights.
  • Design and launch exciting fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives that boost donations while staying ahead of the curve with the latest fundraising trends.
  • Ensure our donor brand shines brightly, inside and out, partnering with MarCom to launch fresh social media channels that elevate engagement.
  • Plan memorable events to celebrate our donors and spotlight TrueCare’s mission, sparking new support.
  • Keep donor records spot-on, tracking gifts and delivering reports to key stakeholders while exploring cutting-edge donor software to level up our efforts.
  • Team up with the PIPO to roll out donor recognition programs, from thoughtful thank-yous to appreciation events and tailored communications.
  • Spark strategic partnerships with corporate sponsors, foundations, and community allies through targeted campaigns.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration or relevant area.
  • 5 or more years of experience in fundraising.
  • Experience in managing databases and fundraising software.
  • Working knowledge of social media marketing, corporate communication, and copywriting.
  • Proven track record of planning successful fundraising events and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Availability to travel and/or work occasionally outside of normal shifts (e.g., 8am to 5pm)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare marketing and integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Experience in managing multiple development teams.

The pay range for this role $78,000 to $118,000 on an annual basis.

If you are hired at TrueCare, your final base salary (within the pay range), will be determined based on factors such as education, knowledge, skills, and experience. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer generous benefits and retirement plans.
